We have been appointed as the Cluster Management and Technical Agency (CMTA) by the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India for the Narsapur Mega Cluster under the Comprehensive Handicrafts Cluster Development Scheme (CHCDS). The project aims at building the competitive position of Narsapur, increasing the turnover of the cluster through effective market integration, enabling higher value realisation and promoting sustainable livelihoods of the 100,000 women artisans of the cluster engaged in the lace making

Our team is assisting the Ministry of Textiles in designing and monitoring the project and working proactively with the Cluster stakeholders and the SPVs in the implementation of the project interventions. Our role involves providing technical and managerial assistance at all stages of the project

Scope of work includes conducting diagnostic study, preparing DPR, mobilising and sensitising stakeholders, establishing and structuring SPVs, assisting SPVs in mobilising funds, obtaining statutory approvals, engaging service providers, coordinating amongst all stakeholders and providing periodical progress reports to the Ministry
